Die Veranstaltung ist abgesagt! HORIZON 2020 Collaborative Projects: Grant Application for Beginners

You have already heard about HORIZON 2020, the EU funding program for research and innovation, and probably also looked a bit closer into a specific call, but you do not really know how to put together a convincing EU project application? Our workshop is the right place for you!

In cooperation with Germany‘s National Contact Point (NCP) Environment and NCP Bioeconomy, GEOMAR and EEN / IB.SH cordially invite you to the workshop:

HORIZON 2020 Collaborative Projects:
Grant Application for Beginners

- using a sample call for clean coasts and seas -
on Thursday, 19th March 2020, 12:00 - 16:30 Uhr (in English),
or on Friday, 20th March 2020, 9:00 - 13:00 Uhr (in German).

The grant application workshop offers beginners, early stage researchers and entrepreneurs helpful tips and practical exercises on how to transform your project idea into a successful project proposal. After a brief introduction to HORIZON 2020 and first insights into the successor programme HORIZON EUROPE (from 2021 onwards), we will take a closer look at the proposal template for "Societal Challenges" and, based on a sample call from the marine area, gain a better understanding of how to put the call text into action, what to specify in the work plan, how to tackle the dissemination of project results, etc.

The workshop is free of charge and will be offered on two separate days, both with the same content, namely on March 19th at GEOMAR in English and on March 20th at IB.SH in German. The number of seats is limited. Please register here for the workshop in English. Should the other workshop also suit you, we kindly ask you to mention this in the registration form. Thank you!

Please note that the available seats will be allocated on a first come first served basis, while preferential treatment will be granted to organisations from Hamburg / Schleswig-Holstein. Regarding the workshop in English, priority will be given to GEOMAR employees.
